In honor of the novel’s 200th anniversary, over 100 artists will debut never-before-seen works paying homage to Mary Shelley’s creature in a group show called Frankenstein 200. For two centuries, the story of rankenstein has enthralled people all over the world, with the monster incarnating in every medium from classic cinema to comic books, plays, toys and more. Inpaintings, sculptures and screen prints, artists from around the world will exhibit their unique takes on the iconic monster, whose story is often equated to the creative process itself.
